Hello, my name is Himanshu Tyagi. I am working as an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, USA since Fall 2025 (Link to my PSU profile page).

I obtained my PhD from Arizona State University, USA in 2008. Prior to that I obtained my masters degree from University of Windsor, Canada and bachelors degree from IIT Delhi, in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I have also previously worked in the Steam Turbine Design Division of Siemens (in Germany and India) and in the Thermal & Fluids Core Competency group of Intel Corp (in USA). I joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, in 2009 and am currently on leave from there (since 2024).
